The Lambert Agency Local Service Areas
Serving Greater Austin & Central Texas Families and Businesses
Local, independent insurance help for individuals, families, and small businesses across the Austin metro.
Whether you’re in downtown Austin, up in Round Rock, out in Lakeway, or anywhere in between, I’d love to help.
A Local Advocate in Your Corner, Not a Generic 1-800 Number
Local matters, especially in insurance.
When life changes or health questions arise, you shouldn’t have to wait on hold with a national call center. As an independent Central Texas broker, Jeff Lambert works directly for you, shopping top national carriers while providing the personalized, face-to-face service you expect from a neighbor.
Below are the local services areas The Lambert Agency serves and has the most clients today. If you don’t see yours, don’t worry, I work with clients across Texas and the USA!

Don’t see your community?
I work with clients across all of Texas, not just the metro. If you’re in the Hill Country, or even out in the country, or somewhere I haven’t listed, get in touch. Most of my work happens over the phone or by video anyway, so location isn’t a barrier.

From level-funded health plans for growing Tech Ridge startups to term life policies for young families in Cedar Park, we match coverage to Central Texas living costs.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to meet in person, or can we work remotely?
Both work. I offer completely flexible meeting options based on your preference. Most of my clients across the Austin metro handle everything by phone, video, or email, it’s faster and fits busy schedules better. If you’d prefer to meet in person, I’m happy to grab coffee or come to your office, whatever works for you.
Do you only serve Austin, or do you work with clients in the surrounding cities?
While I am based in Austin and specializes in Central Texas communities (Travis, Williamson, and Hays counties), I work with clients across the entire Austin metro and beyond. That includes Round Rock, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Pflugerville, Leander, Lakeway, and more as you can see above. Plus I have clients scattered across the rest of Central Texas and the state.
I’m moving to Greater Austin from out of state. Can you help me transition my coverage?
Yes. Relocating to a new zip code or state triggers a Qualifying Life Event, giving you a 60-day Special Enrollment Period (SEP) to secure new individual or family health insurance without waiting for annual open enrollment. I can help you navigate state-specific Marketplace options or private plans before you arrive.
What if I move out of Austin later, can I keep working with you?
Yes. Most of my services carry across Texas, and even if you move out of state, life and IUL policies stay in force wherever you go. Home and health coverage would need to switch to a plan valid in your new state, but I can usually point you to a trusted partner to help with that transition.
How quickly can we get on a call?
Usually within a few days, if not same day. I keep some availability open for new client calls each week. If you’re facing a coverage deadline, turning 26, losing job coverage, a business renewal date, let me know when you book and I’ll prioritize.
What if my situation isn’t in one of the cities you listed?
Reach out anyway. The cities on this page are where I have the most clients today, but I work across Central Texas and the rest of the state. If I’m not the right fit for some reason, I’ll tell you and point you toward someone who is.
Can you structure group benefits for small businesses with remote workers spread across Texas?
Absolutely. For small business group health (1–50 employees), we build level-funded and fully insured packages that offer broad state and national PPO/EPO networks. This ensures your local Austin staff and your remote team members across Texas, and the US, receive consistent, high-value coverage.
Does using a local independent broker cost more than buying directly online?
No. Insurance rates in Texas are strictly regulated by law. You pay the exact same premium whether you buy a policy directly through a carrier’s website, an automated phone line, or through The Lambert Agency. Working with me gives you local, dedicated advocacy at zero additional cost.
What makes working with a local Austin agent different from using a life insurance online quoting site?
Online life insurance quoting sites are built to sell you the cheapest and easily acceptable life insurance policy that matches a few checkboxes, not the policy that actually fits your situation or your medical profile. With just a little more underwriting and advice from an expert broker my clients enjoy getting more coverage at a lower premium and in many cases, valuable living benefits like critical, chronic and terminal illness riders, at no additional cost. A local agent like myself knows which life insurance carriers are likely to produce the best results for you, your family or your business. When something goes wrong, you talk to a person (me) who already knows your needs and budget, not a chatbot that reroutes you to a call queue.
